Boiler Automation
- Our Boiler Automation combines HMI interfaces with VSD controls to realise real time savings of up to 40% electricity savings for boiler ID and FD Fans.
- Fuel savings of up to 20% can be realized with our systems.
Valve Servicing and Testing
- ISB carries out repairs and servicing of all steam valves. Our valves are pressure tested (water) and certified before dispatch to our clients.
- Safety valves are serviced and repaired if necessary and pressure tested with Nitrogen and certified.
- ISB has a team of ready to assist with leaking or damaged valves 24/7.
Manufacturing
- ISB manufactures pressure vessels in accordance with all stipulated regulations.
- Pressure vessel repairs including boiler retubes are completed under supervision of an Accredited third-party Inspector and in compliance with the necessary Regulations.
- ISB manufactures and installs steam reticulation systems with all steam isolation valves, steam traps and condensate return piping.
- ISB manufactures and install piping for all gas lines, including gas train components.

ISB has dedicated Field Service Teams that can carry out a complete range of boiler repairs and maintenance such as:
- Boiler repairs, (coal and oil-fired, electrode)
- Boiler retubes, are serviced and repaired if necessary and pressure tested with Nitrogen and certified.
- Boiler cleaning, including acid washing and de-scaling
- Service and test valves
- Service and repairs to combustion equipment
- Boiler emissions testing
- Fuel conversions, (coal to oil; coal to gas; oil to gas)
- Annual commissioning inspections
- 3-Yearly Statutory Inspections
Our Field Service Teams are available 24/7 and travel all over South Africa and neighboring states to attend to minor and major breakdowns and repairs.

Steam Outsourcing
ISB offers clients the opportunity to take over their steam generation and all the responsibilities that go with managing a boiler house such as: Operators, Water-treatment, Fuel (coal, gas, oil), statutory requirements, maintenance and breakdowns.
This allows us to manage your boiler house and you only pay for the steam you use.
